My name is Lanakila. I love birds of prey.
My favourite bird of prey is the bald eagle (Haliaeetus leucocephalus).
I perform volunteer work at the Mountsberg Conservation Area, located near Milton, Ontario in Canada. I've been performing the volunteer work for over 7 years. I thoroughly enjoy working with birds of prey, either being close to them, caring for them, or doing education presentations with them. It's been an awesome experience!
Beyond my affinity for bald eagles and birds of prey, I love photography. I currently shoot with the Nikon D70s SLR digital camera, which was a step-up from the old Nikon Coolpix 880 digital camera. It's been treating me nicely!
I love travelling! I adore going on vacations and exploring another country/region of the world! Some of my exotic vacations have taken me to Costa Rica, England, and Italy. I'm always purchasing a plane ticket every quarter and flying off to some fun, faraway destination. More often than not, I'm touring the United States, visiting the many friends who I have made online the Internet.
So there you have it. My three top interests: birds of prey, photography, and travelling.
